Marine workshop

You can find out more about the Irish Sea Conservation Zones project by joining us at a conference in Preston this month.

Lancashire Biodiversity Partnership will be holding its biannual conference, The Future of Lancashire’s Wildlife, at the University of Central Lancashire on May 22nd.

The free event aims to get people working together for wildlife and nature conservation in the county.

Staff from the Irish Sea Conservation Zones project will be on hand to lead a workshop looking at the fascinating and sometimes unexpected marine wildlife of the Irish Sea.

Other sessions will cover Lancashire’s flora, wildlife crime, butterfly conservation in Morecambe Bay and the importance of Lancashire’s peat habitats.
